Band's own Statement: "Since Maxx joined us in 2004 until the Release of “Live Infection” in 2006 things were constantly running good for us. Trapjaw felt like a growing Project. For 2 ½ years we had constant live- propositions, attention from the press, first experiences with Distributions, short: we always knew about the next step.
But the second half of 2006 and the first months of 2007 turned to the darkest period in Trapjaw- History until now. The word “Crisis” got a new definition for us since then. The Gigs which were supposed in this time had to be cancelled because of different reasons or weren't running in our sense if they were absolved yet. Somehow we felt like being excluded from the Metal Community, or in other words: we truly felt like “Lurking in Exile”. Some private Problems of Maxx almost forced him to leave the Band, but we told him to take a break of unknown length, no matter how long it would take, we'd always bid him welcome in case of his return. We filled the time with a session Drummer: Daniel Rudka. From him we learned some important and useful things and absolved the first Trapjaw- Gig in our hometown Bielefeld since 4 ½ years. Next to this Marek and Kozzy filled the time with constructing the Boom Room- Studio in the Cellar of Kozzy's house. While “Lurking in Exile” (Vol.1) was a compilation of different Trapjaw- Songs, taken from “Virushuman”, “Crawling Chaos” and “Live Infection”, the Volumes 2, 2.1 and 3 included the first Songs recorded in our Boom Room- Studio when Max returned. Important Experiences of learning before we felt being ready for recording the next regular Trapjaw- Album: Terror Divine.
Looking back things were starting to run in our sense again. Not only in case of live- Concerts like the Gig in one of our hometown's most popular and biggest Clubs: Ringlokschuppen (which was a special highlight in the Band's history). Further the Underground- Label Venomous Productions takes care about Distribution and manufacturing Merchandise like T- Shirts, Buttons and other Stuff since then. The Titles of our Promo- CDs describe the Band's feeling: After a long time of “Lurking in Exile” we finally felt ready to “Terrorize the Audience” again!"
